Interim Rangers head coach Barry Ferguson issued a firm defence of Cyriel Dessers ahead of his side's game against Athletic Club tomorrow evening.
The Nigerian failed to find the back of the net in Rangers' 2-0 defeat to Hibernian on Saturday.
It came after he scored with the last of his 12 attempts on goal a week prior against Dundee.
Ahead of Rangers' Europa League quarter-final first leg with Athletic Club tomorrow evening, caretaker boss Ferguson was asked whether he is considering dropping Dessrers for Danilo, given the former's recent exploits.

He said: "In terms of Cyriel, I would be concerned if Cyriel Dessers didn't get into the positions.
"Am I considering other players to play? Of course, I am.
"I've told everybody now, there's places up for grabs.
"I've got a job to pick the XI that I think is the XI that can go and win the game."
Ferguson promised there would be changes to his lineup after the weekend's defeat to Hibs.
He also held a meeting with his players in reaction to what was Rangers' fifth home loss in a row: "We got in on Monday morning, and we had a long chat," said Ferguson.
"I aired my views, so did my staff, and so did the players, which I am happy with. We have been too quiet.
"I came out of the meeting and had a good training session.
"We are clear on how we will approach the game [vs Athletic]."
