Ferguson hooks three Rangers players at half-time, frustrated with Motherwell showing

Rangers interim manager Barry Ferguson has sent a clear message that he will not tolerate anyone who fails to meet his high standards.

The Lights Blues found themselves 2-0 down to Motherwell at Ibrox, thanks to first half goals from Luke Armstrong and Tom Sparrow.

Boos rang out at the interval from the passionate home following, demanding a reaction.

And clearly Ferguson wasn’t happy with the performance he witnessed from several players either as he made a triple substitution ahead of the second half.

The ineffective Hamza Igamane, Ianis Hagi, and Robin Propper were all hooked by the stand-in Rangers gaffer.

(Image: Andrew Milligan - PA) Tom Lawrence, Nedim Bajrami, and the returning Leon Balogun came on to try and make a positive impact during the proceeding 45 minutes.

Rangers haven’t lost three matches in a row at Ibrox since 2012.
