Barry Ferguson has admitted "one or two" Rangers players are facing a possible race for fitness ahead of the match against Celtic.
The interim Ibrox boss insisted he would not use the gruelling 120 minutes plus penalties against Fenerbahce as an excuse on Sunday.
However, Ferguson did concede that a couple of players are feeling the strain from their Europa League efforts but stated there are no "major" concerns.
Stopping short of naming the players who could be unavailable, Ferguson explained he would continue to monitor the readiness of his squad ahead of the derby clash.
