Fergie set to be 'invited to first Sandringham Christmas in 30 years' after toe-sucking scandal

Fergie is set to be 'invited to her first Sandringham Christmas in 30 years' after her infamous toe-sucking scandal. Sarah Ferguson will be reportedly joining her ex-husband Prince Andrew for the royals festive proceedings.

The 63-year-old has not spent Christmas Eve or day at the Norfolk estate since she split with former flame and now disgraced royal Andrew back in 1992. However, a source in Sandringham has now revealed that a five bedroom farm house is being prepared for the pair, reports the Mirror.

Their daughters Beatrice and Eugenie are also rumoured to be in attendance, with their husbands and children. The royal insider told The Sun : “Andrew is banned from public life but you can't ban him from family Christmas.

"Staff at Sandringham have been tasked with getting Wood Farm ready for the whole York family. For 30 years she used to have Christmas dinner on her own.

"But things are being done differently now.”

Fergie was reportedly banned from attending family gatherings after she was caught on camera having her toe sucked by financial adviser John Bryan.

The intimate pictures showed the Texan millionaire kissing and sucking the Duchess' toes and foot. The images also showed the couple kissing and embracing.

The pictures were printed in the Daily Mirror in 1992 and caused a rift between Fergie and her in-laws. It also put her relationship with Andrew on the rocks and five months after the compromising photographs were released the pair announced their split.

After four years of separation, the couple officially announced their decision to divorce in May 1996. She has since retained her title 'Duchess of York' but ceased being a Royal Highness.
