'Feral' Stacey Solomon makes family decision after wedding as she shares warning she got from Joe's family

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are still very much in their newlywed bubble as they revealed the decision they made following their stunning wedding. The Loose Women star and former EastEnders actor tied the knot in a Jewish ceremony at their family home last week.

The pair welcomed their nearest and dearest to watch them exchange vows in the garden of their £1.2m dream home, adorably dubbed Pickle Cottage with Stacey sharing the first photos from the special day a few days after becoming Mrs Solomon-Swash. She also gave her loyal fans a glimpse at the huge garden marquee that had been set up for their guests to enjoy their wedding breakfast surrounded by fairy lights and floral arrangements.

Over the weekend, Stacey spoke directly to her millions of fans for the first time since saying 'I Do', posting videos on Instagram of the special day's setup being taken down before the items, such as tables and chairs, are donated to charity. She penned alongside a video of her flower-filled aisle: "Every day after dinner we come down here and have hot chocolate and tea."

Mum-of-four Stacey then appeared fresh-faced as she and Joe relaxed with their baby daughter, Rose, in the garden. "I just wanted to come on and say we're sitting here reading some of your messages and they're so lovely," Stacey said unable to wipe the smile off her face as her new husband agreed and said: "Thank you so much!" Stacey then continued: "We had the best day... we're just in a little bubble!"

But after days of being quiet on Instagram, Stacey returned last night (Tuesday, August 2) to share how they're spending their first couple of weeks as husband and wife as well as sharing some more wedding details. Taking to her Instagram Story, she and Joe once again appeared outside under their pergola that had been filled with pink flowers after Stacey picked up some inspiration from her Greek hen do.

"Hello, sorry we've been so quiet," the Sort Your Life Out presenter began. She then revealed: "We've took the summer holidays off with the kids. It's the first time we've ever done it. So we're at home with the kids while they're on their summer holiday and it's been so nice."

She then laughed: "So crazy but so nice," as Joe added: "It's like living in Byker Grove." Stacey then admitted to not knowing what day it is and joked that she has become 'so feral' since becoming a wife. "We got married and I haven't brushed my hair since," she confessed holding up her blonde locks.

"The effort stopped as soon as we got married," Joe, 40, chimed in before adding: "Zero effort!" with a grin on his face. Stacey went on to reveal how the wedding day was a very emotional one for both herself and Joe. In the video, Stacey spoke about how they’re going to be getting more of their wedding photos and videos on Wednesday (August 3).

"I hope Joe cries again, I love seeing him cry, he cried so much on the wedding day," Stacey said. "At one point, I'm not even joking, while I was getting ready to walk down the aisle to meet Joe, some of Joe's family had to come up into the bedroom and say: ‘He’s a little bit distressed.'"

Joe denied this being the case as Stacey continued explaining how Joe's family said: "'He’s very emotional, don’t panic when you walk down the aisle, he hasn’t been able to stop crying,'" she laughed. Before the video cut off, Joe tried to reason: "It was a long day!"

Stacey and Joe met when she was crowned 'Queen of the Jungle' on I'm A Celebrity in 2010. Twelve years after first setting eyes on each other as Joe worked on the ITV show's spin-off, the couple are now married with two children together, daughter Rose and son Rex, along with Stacey's two sons Zachary and Leighton, and Joe's son Harry from previous relationships.
