Female rushed to hospital after being knocked down outside Scots school

A female has been rushed to hospital after being knocked down outside a Scots school.

Emergency services raced to Oldmachar Academy after the accident happened on Jesmond Drive in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen.

The alarm was raised around the time classes finished for the day at 3.50pm on Monday March 7.

Ambulance crews attended and the female pedestrian was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

There is no information on her age or condition at this time.

Officers were at the scene earlier today and one local said: "There was a lot of police in attendance."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a crash involving a female pedestrian and a car around 3.50pm on Monday, March 7.

“The pedestrian has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.”
