A woman who is in prison for raping two underage boys she met online has been posting TikTok videos asking for pen pals.
Miriah Vanlith, 43, is serving a 10-year sentence at the South Idaho Correctional Institution, near the capital Boise, for raping a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old in 2018 and enticing children over the internet.
The paedophile reached out to minors over Snapchat and Facebook, but despite this, she still made a brazen come back to social media on July 8 with a TikTok clip begging for male or female penpals.

Vanlith posted eight videos to her account, which quickly got her 33,000 new followers.
Prisoners can use a system called JPay to send emails and videos to people in the outside world, although they cannot access social media directly.
That means someone else will have created a TikTok for the inmate and uploaded the clips.
Her profile has since been suspended.
Vanlith is suspected of molesting other boys, including a 15-year-old, but had another charge dropped against her as part of a plea deal.
Speaking from prison, the convict told The Idaho Statesman that she has changed and that her past does not define her.
She regrets what she did, saying it was a big mistake.
"I’ve learned and grown a lot in the last five years. I take responsibility for what I’ve done. I’ve started a new chapter of my life", she told the outlet.
Despite phones being banned in prisons, officials told the Idaho Statesman they cannot stop her but they do not endorse her communicating with minors.
Vanlith refused to say how she managed to get the videos on TikTok, but a simple search on TikTok brings up hundreds of Boise prisoners searching for pen pals, some even using photos from their past to entice people.
"While many pen-pal-type relationships are well-intended, people who choose to engage in them – including those who are incarcerated – should be wary", Idaho DOC spokesperson Jeff Ray told The Spokesman-Review.
She had around eight videos and over 30,000 followers before her account was removed.
