Women prisoners are banging their heads against the wall over their in-cell TV channels being too blokey.
The jailbirds have whinged to the governor they are fed up with their Freeview access packed with repeats of evergreen series such as Top Gear, Bullseye and Benny Hill.
Bosses are able to control which channels are available – and inmates cannot view female-friendly stations such as Drama and CBS Reality.
They are unable to watch the likes of US court hit Judge Judy and reality show Sun, Sea And Brides To Be.
An official complaint has been lodged by some of the 280 cons at aptly named HMP Downview, near Banstead, Surrey.

But one source said: “I can see why they might not want to watch Top Gear or Benny Hill as they are a bit blokey – yet I wouldn’t mind sitting about on my bunk all day watching the box.”
The Independent Monitoring Board admitted: ”We continue to receive comments about the suitability of channels, which appear to be based on more masculine choices.”
The Prison Service declined today to respond.
