The Boston Celtics made a surprising and bold move by acquiring Jrue Holiday via trade, surprising many fans and analysts — including popular New England sports radio hosts Michael Felger and Tony Massarotti, better known as “Felger and Mazz” on WEEI.
This unexpected trade involved giving up Robert Williams III, which was the shocking part for many. The Celtics had been trying to trade 2023 Sixth Man Malcolm Brogdon, so his inclusion wasn’t so surprising. Additionally, the team traded away two first round picks, which was less of a shock since team president Brad Stevens hadn’t shown a strong inclination for using picks.
