Feeling Lost Without MAFS? Love Triangle Season 3 Is Here & It’s Messy As Hell

If you’re already having withdrawal symptoms now that Married At First Sight (MAFS) is over, never fear because a whole new season of Love Triangle has just hit streaming and boy, it’s already a doozy.

Season three of Love Triangle hit Stan late last week and features some exciting new faces and some more familiar ones, including former MAFS villain Mike Gunner, 50.

Will Mike tell another woman that he’s not her therapist when she finally feels comfortable enough to share her heartbreaking trauma on Love Triangle like he did on MAFS? We’ll have to tune in and see.

Mike is joined by a group of vivacious and outgoing singles, including executive assistant Ariana, 29, business analyst Bernie, 27, concreter and business owner Payton, 25, and nurse manager Chloe, 25.

Just days before the new season landed on Stan, the cast of Love Triangle popped into the PEDESTRIAN.TV office, buzzing with excitement. It’s worth noting that while the gals were down to have a chat, Mike took issue with our previous reporting on his time on MAFS and declined to participate despite showing up to our studio.

You can see our previous articles HERE and HERE, but if you want the cliff notes, essentially, Mike made some misogynistic comments during his time on MAFS and (rightfully) pissed off a heap of viewers.

Although the cast admit they were a bit nervous about the dreaded edit, they were mainly keen for Australia to see the damn show.

“The edit is definitely something that crosses your mind when you put yourself out there, but I feel like it just happens in life anyway. People are going to talk about you regardless of whether you’re doing your best or you’re doing good or bad. It’s just a magnified version,” Ari says.

“I’m very comfortable with myself, so I know that no matter what is put out there, or what edit there is, I know myself, I’m gonna be okay.”

While the gals admit they’re excited for the media attention surrounding the show, they truly went on the show in the hopes of creating their own love story, no matter how unlikely.

“I’m a big believer that if something is meant for you, it will happen for you,” Payton explains.

“That’s why I was like, I’ve got to go for this because my soulmate is out there, and this could be it for me.”

Meanwhile, Chloe felt like she had nothing to lose. She was approached to apply for Love Triangle just when she’d decided to get back into the dating world following her ex breaking off their engagement.

“I was at a point in my life where everything had blown up, and I was just ready for a new challenge,” Chloe shares.

“I really wanted to find love, and I felt as though you’d only really do something like this if you wanted it as badly as I did. But I was soon to find out that there are some clout chasers out there. And I was a bit naive to that going into the show.”

In case you’re not familiar with the hit reality series, let me explain.

Just like MAFS, Love Triangle follows a group of hot singles looking for love. The catch? They begin the series texting with two people and have to pick one based on the connection they formed over text. They go on a date, and then shortly after, move in together. However, eventually the previously rejected suitors rock up and move in too!

The premise alone really has me gooped and gagged, but Love Triangle is also created by the clever minds behind MAFS, so you know they know their way around some juicy drama. Plus, it’s hosted by Selling Sunset star and honorary Australian Chrishell Stause.

What more could you want?

You can tune into Love Triangle seasons one to three on Stan.
