A 12-year-old boy who was reported missing from Aberdeen after he left his home in the middle of the night has been found safe and well.
Police said that Christopher Cowie left his home address in Gilbert Road, Aberdeen sometime between 12.45am and 5am this morning, Tuesday, November 8.
Officers issued an appeal to find the schoolboy, which was successful, as he has now been traced.
As a result, the search bid has been called off. The public has been thanked for their assistance.
