Fearne Cotton has shared a positive health update with fans following surgery to remove tumours from her face.
The presenter, 43, underwent an operation last year to remove two benign tumours from her jaw area.
Now, she has revealed to her 3.9 million Instagram followers that a recent ultrasound scan showed “not a scrap of tumour left on my parotid gland”.
“Grateful,” she wrote, in a post highlighting her latest activities.

“To those of you who sent me messages that have a similar operation coming up I'm sending love for your recovery.”
In the photo dump caption, The Happy Place host also revealed that she is busy writing a new book. “I’m not sure I’ve ever felt more desperate to write a book”, she said.
Cotton previously shared a selfie on Instagram in December following her initial surgery.
“The human body is incredible, In less than three weeks you can barely notice where I had the tumour removed.
“I feel almost normal. My ear is still quite numb and my face a little tender but other than that I’m feeling good.”
Cotton’s post included four photos of her jaw post-surgery at different stages of healing.
“Only swipe if you want to see the gradual stages of healing”, she warned her followers.
“It’s not massively gruesome but it certainly looks worse than photo number 1.
“I found the whole process fascinating and feel very grateful that the operation went well and that the tumour was benign.
“My surgeon Professor Oflynn made me feel extremely calm and all the nurses were complete angels.
“Nurse Jackie was especially amazing whilst I was in hospital telling me to get off my phone and nap etc.
“I needed a firm telling off at times.
“Feeling grateful that I’m healing well and will always wear this scar with pride. A reminder to slow down and look after myself.”
A benign tumour is a mass of cells that are non-cancerous, tend to stay in one place and can be safely removed during surgery.
After she announced her surgery in a post to Instagram, former Big Brother host Davina McCall said she was sending Cotton “so much healing and love” in the comments.
In November, McCall, 57, underwent surgery to remove a colloid cyst – a type of rare fluid-filled benign tumour in the brain.
Cotton said she was “not only lucky” that McCall is a “good mate but also a beacon of light and positivity when it comes to this stuff”.
