No side is shorter than Manchester City to win their Champions League match this week - indeed only Bayern Munich come close - and with good reason. City looked on a different planet to FC Copenhagen in last week's 5-0 romp so it's no surprise that Pep Guardiola's all-stars are 1/9 with Betfred to complete the quickfire double at the Parken Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Citizens are building up what looks a formidable head of steam on all fronts. They have scored 24 goals in their six-match winning run since the draw at Villa Park at the beginning of September and in Erling Haaland they have a striker that is carrying all before him.
The Norwegian is going off ridiculously short odds to score in any match he plays at the moment and it's the same story here - he's a hugely restrictive 3/10 to score any time, 7/4 to open the scoring and a miserly 5/1 to score a hat-trick. Anyone that took the short price about him scoring at any time against Southampton at the weekend were made to sweat for their return.
They are not the sort of prices that would excite most punters but the reality is that Haaland will score his 22st goal of the season in this fixture (assuming he plays) and it would hardly be shock of the century if he were to bag a fourth hat-trick of the season.
City score for fun but Copenhagen aren't so fortunate. Jess Thorup's side haven't scored more than once in any game since August 19 and they have won only one of their last seven games in all competitions. They managed just two efforts on goal at the Etihad, neither of which were on target.
Pep will likely shuffle his pack once again but the only realistic outcome here is another straightforward City success because the host simply lack the quality to compete with this brilliant set of City players, whoever starts.
FC Copenhagen vs Man City prediction
Splitting stakes between a City 4-0 and 5-0 win worked nicely for us on Saturday and this could easily go the same way.
Back on their home patch, the hosts could cause the City defence more problems than they did at the Etihad but they are not a side that finds it easy to convert the few chances they do create, so that should ensure that City ease to another victory without conceding.
