FBI Refuses House Judiciary Committee Briefing On Iran's Hack

In addition to the Iran hack, Jordan also expressed interest in obtaining information related to other issues, such as the release of a letter from an individual offering a bounty for the assassination of President Trump.

Furthermore, Jordan sought details from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz regarding confidential human sources from the FBI and their involvement in the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021.

Despite multiple requests from the House Judiciary Committee for a briefing, the FBI has not yet provided the information requested. Jordan emphasized the importance of transparency and cooperation in providing crucial information to the public before a significant election.

The FBI, while acknowledging the importance of congressional oversight, stated that they have been working to accommodate the committee's requests by providing documents and briefings.

Jordan expressed frustration over the lack of cooperation from the FBI and indicated that all options are on the table to obtain the necessary information for the American people.

The House Judiciary Committee has made numerous attempts to secure a briefing from the FBI, but so far, their requests have not been fully met. Jordan reiterated the committee's commitment to obtaining the information needed to address critical issues affecting the country and political candidates.
