The FBI has established a tip line and website for individuals who may have information, videos, or photos related to the shooting incident that occurred at a rally for former President Donald Trump on Saturday. Special Agent Kevin Rojek, in charge of the FBI's Pittsburgh office, announced the website for submitting tips as www.FBI.gov/Butler during a recent press conference.
According to Rojek, the Secret Service took the lead in securing the scene of the shooting, with additional support provided by the FBI, state police, and other local resources. Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens acknowledged the challenges faced by the Secret Service in ensuring the safety of a public venue against determined attackers.
Authorities emphasized that the investigation into the shooting incident is ongoing, and the location remains an active crime scene. They urge anyone with relevant information, footage, or images to come forward and assist in the investigation.
