FBI Director Christopher Wray has pledged to dedicate the full resources of the FBI to investigate the recent assassination attempts against former President Trump. The incident in question took place in West Palm Beach, where suspect Ryan Wesley Routh allegedly attempted to assassinate Trump while lying in wait on a golf course for nearly 12 hours before being apprehended by the Secret Service. Routh has been charged with federal gun crimes and is currently in custody awaiting his next court appearance.
Following the assassination attempt, Secret Service acting director Ronald Rowe and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis have also initiated investigations into the incident at both federal and state levels.
