FBI Confirms Bourbon Street Attack Suspect Acted Alone

FBI investigates the area

The FBI has confirmed that they no longer believe there are other suspects involved in the Bourbon Street terror attack. It has been determined that suspect Shamsud-Din Jabbar acted alone in the tragic incident that took place on New Year's morning. Jabbar drove a pickup truck into a crowd of revelers, resulting in the death of 15 individuals before engaging in a shootout with police. The suspect was subsequently shot and killed by officers during the confrontation.

As part of the ongoing investigations into the New Orleans attack and an explosion outside Trump International Hotel Las Vegas, federal investigators are conducting sweeps in three U.S. cities. In New Orleans, authorities are focusing on searching an Airbnb property believed to have been rented by Jabbar. Additionally, the FBI office in Houston executed a search warrant at a residence connected to the Bourbon Street suspect, leading to the area being blocked off by law enforcement.

Furthermore, in Colorado, the FBI Denver office conducted a search in Colorado Springs in connection to the investigation into a Tesla Cybertruck that exploded outside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas. The investigative efforts across multiple locations indicate the thoroughness with which authorities are approaching these incidents to gather relevant information and evidence.
