Faye Winter has credited boyfriend Teddy Soares with being the reason why she got an abnormal mole checked out.
On Thursday, the former Love Island star was praised, as she took to YouTube to document herself getting her mole checked out on her stomach - and later removed - after it grew a substantial amount following her time on the ITV2 show.
Faye filmed herself after the operation, which she was awake for, claiming it was like she was on 'botched bodies'.
Attending the National Diversity Awards in Liverpool on Friday night, the reality TV star proudly showed off the scar on her stomach with a stunning cut-out black dress.
“I’m waiting for my results, I’ve got my scar out on show,” Faye told us at the Liverpool Angelican Catherdeal.
“There’s nothing to be embarrassed about. This is like a week old,” the stunning scar explained while gesturing to her scar.
When asked whether her scar-showing ensemble was a deliberate choice, the inspirational star opened about societal pressure to have the perfect body.
“I just think for women in particular, everyone’s so self conscious about their bodies and I was that person as well when I was younger - getting my breasts enlarged - but actually, this shouldn’t be an embarrassing thing at all
“This could be a life saving operation that I’ve had, thanks to Teddy, so why would I not show off my battle scars?”
Throughout her YouTube video on Thursday, the former lettings agent was supported by boyfriend Teddy, and on Friday night, Faye revealed to us how it was her partner’s recent appearance on Strictly The Real Full Monty inspired her to get her suspicious mole checked out.
“Teddy did The Full Monty and it was actually one of the reasons why I got my mole checked out.
“Had Teddy not done the show, and raised that awareness, I don’t know if I would have gone myself to go,” the Devon-born babe continued.
