Nottingham has very much made its mark on the world in art, fashion, science, sport, retail and inventions. From HP Sauce to Robin Hood and lace to Rock City, there's much the city is famous for.
Now residents are being asked to share what they're most proud of when it comes to our most enviable exports and cutting-edge creations to celebrate CarShop's sponsorship of this year's Young Creative Awards. The five most popular readers’ responses will each become a design theme brought to life by some of the city’s most talented young artists.
The young award winners will be commissioned to design five special car wraps. And one lucky resident who votes for a top-five theme will receive a stunning private helicopter tour for two - taking to the skies above Nottingham to see all of their favourite landmarks from up high.

Lee Dowell, head of business at CarShop, the leading used car supermarket in Enterprise Way, said: "We're spoilt for choice when it comes to breeding brilliance here in the city and across Nottinghamshire, so we appreciate it’ll be hard to narrow down all possible contenders to our favourite five.
“This is the second time that we’ve supported the very best young creative talent in Nottingham – last year we had one winner and one car wrap design, so we’re back bigger in 2022 - and we can’t wait to see what designs they come up with this time.
"So, we urge everyone in and around the city to support the awards and to give our young artists as much inspiration as possible. We can’t wait to find out what our top five will be and to give five lucky winners the chance to take to the skies above this phenomenal city to see all of our favourite spots. We just can’t wait to update you on our artists and their mobile masterpieces."
Nominations can be made at CarShop’s Facebook page @CarShopGB. The deadline is midnight on Thursday May 19. The private helicopter flight for two will take off from Nottingham Heliport on Saturday July 16 at 11am.
