The father of three children who tragically lost their lives in their family home in 2020 has shared how he was “blown away” by the kindness of a newlywed bride who left her flowers on the children’s grave.
Brave dad Andrew McGinley shares memories of his three children, Conor, Darragh and Carla Mc Ginley, on social media pages as he pledges to keep the memory of his children alive.
Normally Andrew uses the page, titled Conor’s Clips as his son Conor always wanted to have his own YouTube channel, to share pictures and videos of everyday moments between the dad and his three beloved children.
However, on Tuesday, Andrew shared a heartwarming post about how he was “blown away” by a bride that left her flowers on Conor, Darragh and Carla’s grave, adding that the graves attendant was told by her she was flying on her honeymoon the next day.
He continued to say how he was both “blown away” by the gesture and would like to thank the unnamed bride. He also shared the caption with three emojis and a picture of himself with his three children.
In his most recent tweet, the Donegal dad posted: “Help! Yesterday a newlywed bride left her flowers on Conor, Darragh and Carla’s grave. She told Ray (Graves Attendant) that she was flying out to Tenerife on honeymoon this morning. I’m blown away by that gesture and I’d like to thank her.”
Conor, nine, Darragh, seven and Carla, three, were killed by their mother, former nurse Deirdre Morley, in January 2020
Morley was subsequently found not guilty by reason of insanity for the murder of their children, whom she had with Andrew.
Morley has been in custody at the Central Mental Hospital ever since the three tragic children were found dead in their home in Newcastle in Dublin on January 24, 2020.
