Fatboy Slim and Zoe Ball reveal the Glasto act their daughter wants to watch instead of her dad

Zoe Ball and Fatboy Slim's daughter, Nelly, may give her famous father's Glastonbury performance a miss this weekend, according to the couple who reunited on Ball's BBC Radio 2 breakfast show. The renowned British DJ, whose real name is Norman Cook, is scheduled to take the Park Stage at 11 pm on Saturday.

However, Ball, who was married to Cook for 18 years, revealed that their daughter has her sights set on catching Loyle Carner's performance at the West Holts Stage at 10:15 pm. Cook, meanwhile, said he is most looking forward to Sir Elton John's headline set on the Pyramid Stage at 9 pm on Sunday. However, there might be a time clash preventing him from witnessing his son Woody's DJ set. Woody, known for his appearance on Channel 4's reality show "The Circle," will be performing on Sunday evening.

Discussing the logistics, Ball shared, "Well, he is playing in the Rabbit Hole on Sunday night between 8 pm and 9 pm, so we could still get to see Woody and then get to Elton in time."

Cook said it sounded like she had "got a plan" and Ball responded, "Yes. I have a plan. I am also loving the fact that our daughter wants to go and see Loyle Carner and not her dad on the Park Stage on Saturday night. She's got great taste."

Cook reminisced about taking Nelly to a recent Harry Styles concert, remarking, "It was fun. I mean, I must say I went to take Nelly and her friend. Not for my own personal fun, but it was really good and it's a fabulous atmosphere. Harry Styles' fans are just hilarious. The way they dress up, the way they do congas round Wembley Stadium when the gig's on. Yeah, it was a very fun night out."

The DJ also shared his preparations for his upcoming Glastonbury set, stating, "It is the first time I've played the Park Stage. I'm playing for an hour and 15, but generally I play for an hour and a half, so I'm trying to shave 15 minutes off the set, but I want everything to be there. So I'm just making everything shorter."

Having first performed at Glastonbury in 1986 as a member of The Housemartins, Cook ruled out any possibility of a reunion with the band, responding with a firm "No" when asked by Ball. Fatboy Slim gained fame with a series of club hits, including the chart-topping single "Praise You" in 1999. He and Ball initially crossed paths when she worked at BBC Radio 1, and they were married for 18 years before announcing their separation in 2016.

The Glastonbury Festival is currently taking place at Worthy Farm in Somerset, running from June 21 to 25.
