Washington state troopers reported a tragic incident on Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 5 in Federal Way, Washington. The incident resulted in one fatality and left at least three others injured.
The troopers responded to the northbound lanes of I-5 where they found a black BMW with four individuals involved. A male driver was fatally stabbed, and another male was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Both were promptly transported for medical treatment.
Additionally, a male and a female were also taken to nearby hospitals with stab wounds, further highlighting the severity of the situation.
As a result of the incident, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) had to block the two right lanes on the off-ramp to the Seatac rest area. Drivers were advised to anticipate delays in the area due to the ongoing investigation and emergency response.
