Fatal Plane Crash In São Paulo Kills Two

Fatal crash near Dunnellon, Florida

On Friday, a tragic incident occurred in São Paulo, southern Brazil, when a small plane crashed onto a busy road and collided with a bus, resulting in the loss of two lives. The crash took place at around 7:20 a.m. local time along Avenida Marquês in the coastal district of Barra Funda.

According to military police, two passengers aboard the aircraft were burned to death, while six others sustained injuries, including a motorcyclist and a woman on the bus who were struck by flying debris. The authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the collision.

Footage from the aftermath depicted black clouds of smoke and bright orange flames engulfing the highway. The small twin-engine King Air plane was en route to Porto Alegre in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul when the tragedy occurred. The control tower lost contact with the aircraft shortly before the crash.

Emergency response teams, including firefighters and traffic personnel, were swiftly dispatched to the scene to assist in rescuing the victims. São Paulo mayor Ricardo Nunes expressed his condolences over the fatal crash, stating that all necessary support structures are being provided to aid the victims during this difficult time.
