Fatal crash near Dunnellon, Florida

Virginia State Police reported a fatal accident that occurred on Sunday evening, resulting in one fatality and six injuries. The incident took place around 7 p.m. in the 2700 block of Cumberland Road in the Farmville area of Cumberland County, located approximately 50 miles west of Richmond.

According to the police news release, a pickup truck collided with a horse-drawn buggy carrying seven individuals. Tragically, one person lost their life at the scene of the crash. The remaining six occupants of the buggy sustained injuries of varying severity and were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The injuries ranged from serious to life-threatening, highlighting the gravity of the situation.
