Fast & Furious: Crossroads will be delisted in April

It seems some things are indeed stronger than family, as Bandai Namco is delisting Fast & Furious: Crossroads soon.

Earlier this week, an easy-to-miss announcement went up on the Fast & Furious: Crossroads website stating all sales will end in April.

“If you bought the game digitally, it will remain in your library and can be redownloaded in the future,” Bandai Namco’s statement reads. ” Any DLCs purchased before April 29, 2022, will still be available to use after this date. The game’s online modes will also remain active.”

Fast & Furious: Crossroads only came out in August 2020, meaning the game will have been on sale for less than two years. Games based on movies are rarely well-received, as was (clearly) the case with Fast & Furious: Crossroads.

At release, critics tore Fast & Furious: Crossroads apart, with the PS4 version sitting at a dreadful 35 on reviews aggregate Metacritic. Meanwhile, the PC version sits at 34 Metascore. However, the Xbox One port (somehow) did top out with a Metascore of 49. As a frame of reference, Elden Ring has a 96 Metascore on PS5. Maybe it’s unfair to compare a licensed title to one of the best games of all time, but hey, Bandai Namco published both! That’s something, I suppose.

So yeah, there’s about a month left to pick up Fast & Furious: Crossroads if you’re morbidly curious.
