Glasgow will welcome Scotland's first 'Chickaros', a restaurant chain 'offering its own unique twist on a variety of fast foods'.
Chickaros' first eatery opened in the West Midlands in 2020, before a second branch opened in Birmingham, with further restaurants set to arrive in the UK in the near future.
Staff vacancies have now been advertised for a new site in the south side of Glasgow, on Victoria Road, in a unit previously occupied by Santander bank.

A recent social media post confirmed: "We are excited to announce Chickaros is coming to Glasgow! Opening soon."
Explaining their story on the Chickaros website, owners say: "The first branch of CHICKAROS® opened as an express takeaway store in Aldridge, West Midlands during 2020.

"Offering its own unique twist on a variety of fast foods, CHICKAROS® instantly became popular, going from strength to strength with great marketing strategies, gaining a strong, loyal following through word of mouth and social media.
"A second branch opened on the popular Ladypool Road in Birmingham, with custom designed interior and seating, offering a dining in experience as well as takeaways. A third branch has opened in Nottingham with more franchises set to open throughout the year.
"Our motto at CHICKAROS® is Fresh Food Faster and we will always strive for the highest quality food and service for all of our customers."
A look at the menu shows Glaswegians can expect the likes of gourmet burgers, southern fried chicken and 'artisanal desserts'.
