A fast food giant has opened its new store in Wishaw.
Earlier this week, Burger King confirmed to Lanarkshire Live that the new restaurant would open in the near future.
And that is now the case with the new store in Glasgow Road officially opening its doors.
It will be on Glasgow Road in the town, on the site of the old Wishaw Wash car wash with the opening hours stated on the Burger King website as being 11am to 6pm each day.
Previously a Burger King spokeswoman told Lanarkshire Live that the store would be open later in the year.
She said : "We regularly evaluate opportunities to bring our great-tasting products to more guests in new locations.
"We can confirm that there will be a new restaurant opening in Wishaw later in the year.
"However, we do not have further information at this time."
