A new KFC outlet is set to open its doors in East Kilbride after previously shutting up shop in the town centre.
Work has been ongoing outside Princes Mall at the bus station sparking the interest of local residents.
And a spokesman for EK, East Kilbride confirmed KFC is set to reopen in East Kilbride Shopping Centre - two years after leaving.
But they were unable to confirm when it was likely to open.
The fast-food chain are in the process of fitting out a new outlet.
A KFC previously existed in the food court in Centre West.
