Fashion Sakala sends update to 'blue family' amid Rangers transfer exit talks

Fashion Sakala has provided a cryptic update on his Rangers future with a series of Instagram posts.

The Ibrox winger has been linked with a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League.

Michael Beale had confirmed Sakala was in talks with a Saudi club and would miss the match against Kilmarnock due to transfer discussions.

Now, Sakala has shared a series of Rangers posts on his Instagram story but stopped short of confirming a transfer exit.

Sharing images of himself in action for Rangers and celebrating at Ibrox, Sakala captioned the posts: "Sea of Ibrox. Passion. We celebrated together."

In another image on his story, he wrote: "I'm sending my kisses to the blue family."

And sharing a short clip from a plane leaving Glasgow he wrote: "Glasgow 💙🥰"

Beale had previously insisted "nothing is confirmed" in his press conference on Friday as he conceded Sakala is  considering his future.

“Fashion won’t be involved tomorrow because he is away having discussions," said Beale. "He’s talking to one of the Saudi clubs.

“He is a boy and a player that I have a fantastic relationship with but sometimes in football these things happen, an opportunity comes up and you discuss it with the player and from there something can happen.

“So he is away having talks, there is nothing confirmed either way but he won’t be with the squad tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, Beale urged Rangers fans not to get carried away after the opening-day defeat to Kilmarnock.

He said: "It's food for thought. It's obvious we're not happy with today. Not me, not the staff, not the players and certainly not the fans.

"But it's gone, we have to move forward and move forward quickly. It's a new group and there's a bit of open eyes in terms of the demands if this club and what the league's going to bring for everybody.

"We know everything about the league but there's 37 games to go. So let's not get carried away."
