The 2024 Emmys started with a red carpet featuring stunning outfits worn by nominees and great celebrities. Among the best-dressed was Selena Gomez, who wore a black dress with a silver halter neck. Nestor Carbonell from Shogun looked relaxed and sharp in a classic tux. He already won his Emmy for best guest actor in Shogun earlier this week.
Laverne Cox, Lety Sahagún, nominee Liza Colón-Zayas, and Andrew Scott were among the first to arrive, while Drag queens from Ru Paul's Drag Race brought color and flamboyance to the carpet outside of the Peacock Center in Los Angeles.
Some of the most anticipated stars on the carpet were Sofía Vergara, the first Latina actress to be nominated for Best Actress in a Drama for 'Griselda,' and Mau Nava, the Mexican star of Netflix hit 'Baby Reindeer.'
From the first arrivals, we could tell that white with cream or white, and jewel colors such as emerald green, ruby, eggplant purple and topaz, as well as monochromatic looks, were going to prevail, as expected.
