Fashion fans swoon over Next's 'gorgeous' Ugg slippers dupe which cost £65 less

It's officially slippers season, and many of us will be on the lookout for the perfect pair to keep our toes nice and toasty during the colder months ahead. Of course, with the ongoing cost of living crisis, budget-conscious shoppers will be keen to bag themselves a quality bargain rather than splash out on pricey designer brands.

One pair in particular has caught people's eye, as they look remarkably like a posh pair of Ugg slippers - just without the hefty price tag. The chestnut-coloured dupe costs just £20 from Next, a full £65 less than you'd spend on Ugg's classic £85 offering.

Taking to TikTok, vlogger Dais - who goes by the username @daisyforbesparker - shared footage of her new purchase, which she claims has saved her 'from taking out a small mortgage'. Her followers have fallen for the 'gorgeous' slippers, which would be absolutely perfect for cosy evenings at home.

One person lamented 'me wearing Uggs I paid £94 for', while another applauded, 'yesss, save money and they’re also likely to be cruelty-free'.

According to the Next website, a pair of their Suede Mule Slippers, which appear to be the same ones or very similar, come in a range of colours. If you don't fancy the classic chestnut shade, you can opt for a more out-there hot pink or zebra print.

The coveted slippers are rated five stars from 17 reviews, with one shopper describing it as 'exactly what they were looking for'. Another commented: "Love these slippers. Always buy them. Last for ages. Warm and cosy".

Shoppers have also been obsessing over a blanket from Sainsbury's, which looks absolutely perfect for evenings hibernating in front of the telly. Made from a cuddly borg material, the cream hoodie has a five-star rating on the Sainsbury's website and costs £22, a fair bit less than an official Oodie wearable blanket.

TikTok user Daxi, who goes by the username @daximumlife29, enthusiastically praised the bargain hoodie, declaring: "A trip to Sainsbury's has just saved me a fortune… purchase of the year."
