Fashion buffs are going wild for a £50 Summer outfit that uses 'anti-camel toe' fabric, and sculpts the body with compression fabric for an instant slimming effect. The shapewear outfit, which has been seen across Instagram, can be dressed up or down for Summer occasions such as picnics, BBQs, brunches, beer gardens and nights out.
The outfit looks near identical to Skims' £80 slim-fit ribbed stretch-cotton playsuit. But at £49.99, the Couture Club's Sculpting Stretch Unitard costs considerably less than the designer piece from the brand founded by Kim Kardashian.
The sculpting Summer outfit is a compressive fitted short unitard that will help to suck in bloated stomachs and 'mum tums'. It is crafted from a super soft 4-way stretch fabric, and has a seamless crotch which will get rid of any signs of camel toe - something which many women struggle with in the warmer Summer months.
The unitard's front rounded neckline will flatter the bust area, while its thick shoulder straps allow for the wearer to go braless without the need for extra support. It is available in sizes 4 to 18.
Couture Club's Sculpting Stretch Unitard comes in two different colours. Fashion fans can choose from Black and Charcoal.
While the brand doesn't have reviews available on it's website for individual items, it has managed to score 4.1 out of five on average on Trustpilot with over 8,500 reviews. When we got our hands on some of the products ourselves, including the Sculpting Stretch Unitard, we were blown away by the quality. After trying it out, we're calling the Sculpting Stretch Unitard a Summer 'must'.
It's easy to throw on with a denim jacket and some trainers, but can equally be worn with an oversized blazer and heels for a more dressy occasion. It can also be worn under Summer dresses as shapewear for those wanting a little extra support and some sculpting.
One thing that really stood out was how breathable the fabric was, especially during the hot weather which, at times, has been almost unbearable. Another thing that stood out is how comfortable the unitard is.
At no point did I feel there was a risk of camel toe or an uncomfortable wedgie while I was wearing it - so I can safely say it does what it claims to - or it did for me, anyway. You can buy the Charcoal Sculpting Stretch Unitard here for £49.99 or shop the full summer collection here.
