Despite World No.2 Xander Schauffele and World No.5 Collin Morikawa withdrawing, the 2025 Farmers Insurance Open drew out some big names at Torrey Pines. The field features five of the top 20 players on the world golf rankings.

After a T5 finish at The Sentry and a star-studded performance during the TGL debut, Ludvig Aberg is always a threat. Aberg rarely missed in 2024, always shining in the most significant moments. He’s always played well at Torrey Pines and posted all three rounds of the South Course at par or better. With his precision and power off the tee, Aberg will be one to watch this weekend.
Tony Finau (+2500)
It wouldn’t be an event at Torrey Pines without Tony Finau playing. Despite loving the Farmers Insurance Open and the course, Finau is the only player inside the top 10 on the all-time Farmers Insurance Open money list without a win. He’s always played well at Torrey Pines, scoring six top times and nine made cuts. Finau has never finished worse than T24. It may be his year to finally his way at the top of the leaderboard.
Keegan Bradley (+2800)
Keegan Bradley was named the U.S. Ryder Cup Captain, but he’s not letting any of that stress show. Instead, he is fresh off a successful start in Hawaii, cashing in a T15 at the Sentry and a T6 at the Sony Open. Bradley loves the Farmers Insurance Open and has played the event every year since 2011; expect missing the event once in 2021. In 13 starts, he’s cashed in seven straight tournaments.
