Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW) 2025 bachelor Jarrad Wrigley has finally broken his silence on his unfortunate breakup with winner Chloe Ikla.
ICYMI, FWAW has officially hung up its Akubra for the 2025 season, with four out of the five farmers finding love.

Despite being the first one to leave the rodeo after finding a (potential) wife, Farmer Jarrad and Chloe confirmed the end of their relationship during the FWAW reunion, with Chloe revealing she was the one who called things off.
“I definitely see him as a really good mate and I will always be there for him and support him in what he does but I don’t think you really understand how hard it is going to be until you’re living it and at this current time our lives are on different paths,” Chloe dished.

Farmer Jarrad opens up about his breakup with Chloe
Shortly after the reunion aired, the 21-year-old singer took to Instagram, admitting that looking back at the show was quite “happy sad” and that it was the “most amazing thing [he’d] ever done”.
In a second post, Jarrad opened up about his breakup, stating his reality TV ex “was and is one of the most amazing women” he had ever met.
“I was very, very lucky to have her in my life. You know, it wasn’t for the longest time. It was only a couple of months after we finished filming,” Jarrad dished.

The farmer then decided to jump ahead of the “rumour train”, adding Chloe made the “right decision” and claimed they had an amicable breakup.
“But before the rumour train goes nuts and all that type of whatnot, Chloe is an amazing woman,” he continued.
“The decision she made was the right decision — and I shouldn’t even say a decision she made. It’s not as if she just woke up one day and said, ‘Oh, we’re done. Blah, blah, blah’. No, we had several conversations, serious adult conversations about if it was going to work.
“Unfortunately, we came to the conclusion that it wasn’t.
“It wasn’t exactly great, but I completely respected that decision, and I would like everybody else to as well.”
After posting his video, Jarrad was flooded with a barrage of positive comments from viewers and fans, with many wishing the pair well and good luck.
“This was the one love story I was most invested in this season. I stayed up wayyyy past my bedtime to see what happened, and I was so disappointed it didn’t work out. Jarred, your emotion is still so raw!! I even got a little teary for you. Chloe was the best! Cowboy hats off to you both for handling this with maturity beyond your years,” one person wrote.
“It appears you are both handling this very maturely, and it’s none of our business anyway. Good luck to the both of you,” a second fan penned.
“My heart broke tonight. I really loved you two together and really had hoped it was going to last. I hope the two of you can work it out one day and reconcile. Much love to you both!” wrote a third.

At the time of writing, Chloe hasn’t posted about her breakup with Jarrad. However, it does appear that she has her IG account back as she has since taken out the show from her bio and changed her profile picture.
Honestly, as someone who followed the show quickly, I was really rooting for Chloe! She was definitely one of my faves, and watching her relationship with Jarrad blossom was quite the delight.
With Chloe being a country girlie herself, I reckon we should bring her back as the bachelorette in 2026… BRB starting a petition!
