Farmer Wants A Wife 2025’s Farmer Thomas Says Filming Was ‘A Bit Of A Nightmare’

Farmer Wants A Wife (FWAW) 2025 is about to mosey on in. However, two farmers have already spilled some behind-the-scenes tea about the show, with one admitting that recording the whole love fest was “a bit of a nightmare”.

Ahh yes. The wholesome rodeo that is FWAW is about to grace our screens! While it’s known to be on the ligther side when it comes to dating show — as well as one of the most successful ones — there has bit a shit tonne of tea regarding its upcoming season.

In an interview with Yahoo! Lifestyle, incoming farmer, Farmer Thomas, admitted that it was a “nightmare” dating more than five women at the same time while having them live in the same house.

“A few mates were like, ‘Oh, it would be your dream having five girls in your house’, but it was a bit of a nightmare,” the South Australian farmer dished to the publication.

“Not bad for them, just their feelings. You don’t want to manipulate them or play with their feelings, and I guess that’s one of the hardest things.

“You couldn’t really be 100 per cent honest with them and tell them how you’re feeling, because they’d probably talk to the other girls. I’m a pretty honest and open person, probably too honest, and I found that pretty hard.”

Fellow 2025 country boi, Farmer Corey, also admitted that he found the whole shebang a struggle and revealed what “annoyed” him about the whole gimmick of FWAW.

“You’d have those private moments talking and getting to know someone, and another girl would come in and interrupt that,” he shared.

“I got a bit annoyed with that, and you couldn’t catch up on that conversation for another day or two.

“I found that probably one of the hardest things to really connect. Someone would interrupt when you were talking, and that’s what I struggled with.”

But despite the struggles, Corey acknowledged the sacrifices the ladies made in an attempt to find love.

“They’ve sacrificed a lot to be there for the risk of finding love, and you don’t want to break anyone’s hearts at the end of the day, but it’s inevitable. And you always fear that you may get your own heart broken at the end of the day as well,” he added.

Farmer Corey and Farmer Thomas’ cheeky tea spill comes shortly after two contestants seemingly spoiled their storylines by revealing their relationship statuses on Instagram.

Emmie-Rose Shore, who was hoping to snag the heart of Farmer Tom, recently shared a post with a mystery man who appears to be her current partner.

“My Love ❤️,” she penned alongside the sweet, sweet photo.

“You both look great together,” one person commented. (Image source: Instagram / @emmieroseshore)

In a similar post, Ellie Heazlewood, who’s vying for the heart of Farmer Corey, also revealed her relationship status via Instagram.

In a lovey-dovey carousel, the incoming FWAW 2025 contestant is posing next to a man. In one of the pics, the pair are sharing a cheeky smooch.

With all this tea ahead of the premiere, it looks like this is going to be one bucking ride! Consider me saddled TF up for FWAW 2025.
