Farhad Moshiri has shared his delight after Everton confirmed Frank Lampard as their new manager.
The Blues announced the arrival of the former Chelsea and Derby County boss on Monday afternoon, with the ex-midfielder putting pen-to-paper on a two-and-a-half year contract at Goodison Park.
Lampard has replaced Rafael Benitez as the club's new manager, with the Spaniard having been sacked earlier in the month.

And, speaking of the new appointment, majority shareholder Moshiri described how happy he was to bring an "impressive" manager to the club, and he is expecting an immediate boost.
He said: “I am really delighted that Frank has joined us.
"He is an impressive young man on and off the pitch.
"He has played at the very highest level of the game and has football in his blood.
"He impressed us all greatly during the thorough interview process and we’re all ready to give him all of our support as he looks to give the team an immediate boost.”
Lampard's first match in charge of Everton will be the FA Cup fixture against Brentford at Goodison Park on February 5th.
