In what seems like the internet’s latest serving of karma, far-right influencer Nick Fuentes has found himself at the centre of a doxxing incident.
For those not in the know, Fuentes is the charming Holocaust-denier who decided to celebrate Donald Trump‘s 2024 election win by posting a gross tweet: “Your body, my choice. Forever.” The post has been viewed more than 91 million times and reposted more than 35,000 times.
Now, we’re not saying doxxing is cool — it’s definitely not. But when you poke the bear (or in this case, half the world’s population), it’s not surprising when it bites back. And bite back they did, with Fuentes’ address spreading everywhere across social media.
It’s worth noting that this isn’t just about one twit with a Twitter account. Trump’s re-election has seen a surge in online attacks against women, with men feeling emboldened to spew their misogynistic nonsense left, right, and centre. Bill Burr recently got in on the action, using his Saturday Night Live spot to essentially tell women to “whore it up” if they want to win elections.
Trump himself copped deserved flak on the campaign trail for saying he’d protect women “whether they like it or not”. And let’s not forget him saying that women deserve “some form of punishment” for abortions.
Trump’s win seems to have given permission to men who feel the need to say hateful and harmful comments towards women wherever they see fit. Vanity Fair reported that there have been an increase in women receiving hateful DMs that say things like “Stupid cunt” and “Your body. My choice. Dumb Whore”.
But women aren’t taking this lightly. From the 4B movement to, well, doxxing far-right influencers, they’re fighting back in any way that they can, whilst their autonomy comes under attack.
There is also a video floating around on TikTok claiming that Fuentes’ house was also set on fire, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves — no official word from authorities or any other publications on that yet.
As for Fuentes himself? Radio silence. Seems like he’s not so keen on sharing his thoughts when it’s his privacy on the line.
