While Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had his best game in the two-tone blue in Week 5, his teammates, running back Derrick Henry and quarterback Ryan Tannehill, didn’t fare so well from a fantasy perspective.
Hopkins showed he’s very much still an elite receiver last week after tallying season-highs in receptions (eight) and yards (140). He almost scored, also, but Henry just missed him in the end zone on a trick-play pass.
Tannehill wasn’t bad, per say, as he completed 23-of-34 passes for 264 yards, but the Titans struggled in the red zone and failed to score on three of their four trips, ruining what could have been a strong fantasy showing for him.
Meanwhile, Henry was back to his disappointing ways after posting 62 scoreless scrimmage yards in the losing effort.

Ryan Tannehill: Sit
Tannehill currently ranks as QB30 through five games and has had just one good fantasy performance, with 21 points in Week 2. In his other four games, Tannehill is averaging just 8.5 fantasy points per.
Adding to that, the Ravens own the No. 3 pass defense in the NFL and are ceding the second-fewest fantasy points to signal-callers this season.
RB Derrick Henry: Start
It has no doubt been a disappointing start to the season for Henry, who ranks as RB15 through five weeks. The biggest issue has been Tennessee’s run-blocking.
However, that ranking still makes him an every-week starter by default, so he should remain in lineups.
Unfortunately, this isn’t a great matchup for Henry, who faces a Ravens unit that ranks seventh against the run and is giving up the 12th-fewest fantasy points per game to the position.
WR DeAndre Hopkins: Start
This is not a good matchup for Hopkins, as Baltimore ranks seventh against the pass and is giving up the ninth-fewest fantasy points per contest to wideouts. Also, Hopkins will likely draw a matchup with Ravens top cornerback, Marlon Humphrey.
However, Hopkins should still be in lineups after showing he’s still capable of putting up elite fantasy production with 22 points last week. The veteran wideout doesn’t look like he’s lost a step and he will remain productive as long as Tennessee’s offense line gives Tannehill time to throw.
Hopkins’ target share is another thing that should keep him in lineups. His 42 targets are tied for 14th among pass-catchers in the NFL and he’s receiving a sizeable 29.8 percent share of Tennessee’s total targets.
And Hopkins could be in for even more this week, as Treylon Burks, the team’s No. 2, may not play once again. DHop received 11 targets last week (32.3 percent share) with Burks out, the second-most he’s seen in a game in 2023. Consider him a very strong flex option, at worst, this week.
