Fantasy Six Nations tips: Must-have players for Round 4 including France centre

The Six Nations returns this weekend after a two week break, with perhaps the most evenly matched set of fixtures so far in the Championship.

The weekend kicks off with Wales travelling to Rome to face Italy, with Warren Gatland's side winless so far in their first three matches. Italy are in the same position despite vastly improved performances in this year's tournament and will be hopeful of repeating last year's win against Wales on Saturday.

Also on Saturday afternoon, England host France at Twickenham, with the visitors not having won in London since 2005. Owen Farrell has been dropped for the hosts in what adds to an already interesting narrative between two fierce rivals in West London.

The winner of that match will remain in the hunt to win the championship should Ireland lose at Murrayfield against Scotland on Sunday. The world's number one side Ireland are chasing a Grand Slam, but face a Scotland team who have looked a match for the best teams in the world in recent times.

It is set to be a fantastic weekend of rugby action and here are your tips for Fantasy Six Nations round four:

Michele Lamaro - 12.2 stars

One of the top performers in last year's tournament, the Italy captain has not quite been not his best this campaign but has a chance to show his best form this weekend. The match is Italy's best chance of a win in this year's tournament and that alone should be enough to inspire an increased level of performance this week.

The 24-year-old has been on media duties this week, with that often being a sign of confidence in a player who is yet to repay the faith of his backers this year. At just 12.2 stars, should he perform at the level we all know he is capable of, then it will be a good pick this weekend.

Mason Grady - 9.4 stars

While Italy will be confident, Wales will also be expecting to bring an improved level of performance to Italy this weekend. Mason Grady made his first start at centre alongside Joe Hawkins for Wales against England and was part of a much improved Wales side with Warren Gatland increasingly backing youth.

Grady and Hawkins were up against a high level England midfield in the loss, but will be hoping for more space this weekend in Rome. 48 metres carries by the 20-year-old show his skill and the burgeoning partnership with Hawkins is one to watch, with both being far cheaper than their centre counterparts in other sides.

Jonathan Danty - 13.7 stars

A grand slam winner in 2022, Danty has been absent in this year's Six Nations, with Gael Fickou running the hard yards in the French midfield. Now, the 30-year-old is back from his injury absence to start against England at Twickenham in what is a huge match for both sides.

A destructive ball carrier, Danty starts at inside centre and will be charged with punching holes in the England midfield with Marcus Smith having been picked over Farrell at fly-half. Danty may interchange with Romain Ntamack to target Smith's channel where England could be found lacking in defence.

Ellis Genge - 16.9 stars

When Ellis Genge left Bristol in 2016, few thought that the fiery young prop would return as a candidate for the captaincy of England. And yet, the Baby Rhino has done it and will lead his country out at Twickenham for the first time on Saturday for Le Crunch.

A player who thrives off the big occasion and the passion, the fixture could be the perfect storm for a big performance up against second choice French tighthead Dorian Aldegheri, following the suspension of Mohamed Haouas.
