Fantasy football Week 2 injury report: Michael Pittman Jr. is out, but Mac Jones is in

Injuries suck, but they are a part of professional sports. Of course, they’re also part of fantasy sports and betting. In both instances, they can be the difference between wins and losses on a weekly basis.

As a fantasy football manager, you’ll need to know which players are in and which are out. We’re here to help you keep a tab on all of the important ones.

We’re just one week into the NFL season and the injuries are already piling up. Some are big, some small, but all are important in one way or another.

Here’s a look at the injuries ahead of Week 2.

Week 1 was fun for the Colts’ WR1. Week 2 won’t be nearly as enjoyable from the sidelines.

RB J.K. Dobbins - Baltimore Ravens

Are we inching closer to a return? Surely. Will Dobbins actually return in Week 2 from his ACJ injury? We’ll see, he says. He;s officially listed as questionable.

WR Tee Higgins - Cincinnati Bengals

Tee Higgins was diagnosed with a concussion when the Bengals hosted the Steelers in Week 1. He’s listed as questionable, but it seems as though he’ll be out there Sunday in Dallas.

RB Deandre Swift - Detroit Lions

The NFL’s third-leading rusher (144 yards) is still on the injury report as Sunday nears.

Will Aaron Rodgers have another pass-catching option to get the football two when facing the Bears?

QB Mac Jones - New England Patriots

Return of the Mac.

Mac Jones is officially good to go for Sunday when the Patriots try to pick up their first win of the season.

RB Alvin Kamara - New Orleans Saints

(Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports)

Kamara has been dealing with this rib injury all week. It seems like it’s still an issue.

TE George Kittle - San Francisco 49ers

(Stan Szeto-USA TODAY Sports)

The good news is that Kittle got in some practice time towards the end of the week. The bad news is that he’s still on the injury report. But at least there’s a little optimism towards him making his debut.

WR Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Russel Gage, Julio Jones - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

(Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports)

A bunch of Bucs are banged up. Here’s Field Yates of ESPN to break it all down:
