Trying to craft the perfect fantasy football lineup each week is tough to do. Whether you loaded up on running backs and receivers but left the quarterback spot thin, or stacked up on the skill positions and bypassed a quality defense or kicker in your draft, there’s that one spot in your weekly lineup that’s driving you crazy.
Lucky for you, streaming is an option. And we’re here to help you figure out the best players to stream on a weekly basis.
You’re in the midst of your fantasy football league’s playoffs but are dealing with injuries. Or, perhaps you’re a frequent streamer at certain positions and just need a list of the best available options.
Either way, we’ve got you covered ahead of this win-or-go-home weekend.
Quarterbacks
Zach Wilson – New York Jets
Have yourself a week, Zach Wilson! I mean, 317 passing yards and two TD passes? Sheesh! We’ll take that any day of the week. But is it something to be comfortable relying on during the fantasy football playoffs? Jacksonville gives up a lot of passing yards, so maybe Wilson can take advantage of the Jags this week.
Daniel Jones – New York Giants
Is it time to call up Danny Dimes to your fantasy football starting lineups? He wasn’t great against Washington in Week 15 but on a more normal outing, he’ll land you between 15 and 20 fantasy points, which is fine for a streaming option.
Running Backs
Zack Moss – Indianapolis Colts
Moss took over as the lead back in Indianapolis after Jonathan Taylor went down with an injury. Moss did share reps with Deon Jackson but ended up with 24 carries for 81 yards. He’ll get his share of carries this week against the Chargers in Week 16.
Cam Akers – Los Angeles Rams
The Rams aren’t playing for anything at this point of the season but that hasn’t impacted Cam Akers in any way. He’s still proving to be the lead running back for the Rams and has been a solid streaming option for three weeks in a row. Why not count on him making it a fourth?
Wide Receivers
Zay Jones – Jacksonville Jaguars
I’ve been telling readers to roster Zay Jones for weeks now. Hopefully, you listened.
Against a good Cowboys defense, Jones went for 109 yards and three touchdowns. He and Trevor Lawrence have a legitimate connection that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere. Play him against the Jets this week.
K.J. Osborn – Minnesota Vikings
Make that back-to-back weeks that Osborn has scored a touchdown and seen at least five targets from Kirk Cousins. He saw 16 (!) passes come his way last week and turned them into 10 catches for 157 yards and a TD. Osborn won’t have that kind of output again, but it’s clear he’s a trusted part of the offense that can benefit from all of the attention Justin Jefferson draws.
Tight Ends
Noah Fant – Seattle Seahawks
Tight ends are weird. You can only trust a few. But you can guess correctly on a few every now and again, which is what I’ll be doing with Noah Fant this weekend. Fant’s ceiling isn’t high, but if you look at his game log, you’ll see that he has a fantasy-football-relevant game every few weeks. Perhaps that will happen again this weekend against Kansas City.
Juwan Johnson – New Orleans Saints
Like every other tight end not named Travis Kelce, Juwan Johnson is often a question mark in terms of fantasy football production. However, he’s caught the second-most touchdowns in the NFL from the tight end position this season (7) and has five receiving TDs over the past five games.
Defenses
Cleveland Browns
It will be cold and windy in Cleveland, which will make for a nasty (or beautiful, depending on who you ask) game of football. Don’t expect to see a lot of things happening for either offense. Defense will control the game and the Browns will have the advantage at home.
