Fantasy football Week 10 studs, duds and sleepers: Start Justin Fields and bench Aaron Rodgers

When it comes to competition, one of the best ways to get an edge on the opposition is through prior preparation. In fantasy football, that way of thinking certainly applies. Here at Bet For The Win, we’re doing the preparation for you.

Only four NFL teams have byes this week, which means there are plenty of players who will either make positive or negative contributions to fantasy football lineups in Week 10.

To make sure you know which kind of contributions each player will make, we walk you through our studs, duds, and sleepers for the upcoming week of games.

Enjoy!

Studs

(Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports)

QB Justin Fields – Chicago Bears

Welcome to the Justin Fields takeover. If you’ve had him and played him over the past few weeks, you’ve been in for a great ride. And why would the domination slow at all against the Detroit Lions? It shouldn’t and probably won’t.

RB Saquon Barkley – New York Giants

How many times has Saquon landed on our studs list this year? And how many times has he followed up his tag of “stud” by delivering a masterclass performance? I mean, we are keeping track but we know the answer to both is “a lot.” Don’t expect anything less from him this time around as the well-rested Giants take on a bad Houston Texans run defense.

WR Tyreek Hill – Miami Dolphins

No need to get fancy or look for a diamond in the rough when I can just choose Tyreek Hill as my stud wide receiver for the week. He already leads the NFL in targets (100), catches (76) and receiving yards (1104), so just imagine, so just imagine how crazy his stat lines are going to look once he starts making his way to the endzone. He’ll be spectacular, as always, in Week 10.

TE Dallas Goedert – Philadelphia Eagles

There’s always a possibility that Goedert will have a solid week. He’s in that top-5 tight-end range and shouldn’t have any issues against the Commanders on Monday night.

QB Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers

The Packers’ offense couldn’t get it together against the Lions, which might mean they won’t get it together against any of the other NFL defenses. Stay away from Rodgers and his banged-up pass-catchers.

RB Leonard Fournette – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Stay away from Leonard Fournette, as well. It’s been a bad season for him that doesn’t seem to be getting any better.

WR Michael Pittman Jr. – Indianapolis Colts

What in the world is going on in Indianapolis? Whatever it is, it’s turned Michael Pittman Jr. into a mostly invisible wide receiver in his third season. I’m not sure Sam Ehlinger is the right quarterback to get Pittman back on track, and we don’t know much about new head coach Jeff Saturday.

TE Robert Tonyan – Green Bay Packers

Keep your distance from the Packers’ offense.

Sleepers

QB Jacoby Brissett – Cleveland Browns

Jacoby should know the defense he faced every day at practice a year ago, right? He’s also got to be feeling good about himself after a good performance against the Bengals in Week 8 and the rest he got from the bye week that followed. Don’t be surprised if Brissett pulls a rabbit out of the hat against a generous Miami defense.

RB Jamaal Williams – Detroit Lions

Is Jamaal Williams the lead running back in Detroit? It sure feels that way with D’Andre Swift not being involved much following his injury. Williams has double-digit carries in each game he’s played in this year and has four games with multiple rushing touchdowns. He should be locked into these lineups.

WR Gabe Davis – Buffalo Bills

Davis has been quiet for a while, which means one of his ridiculous catch-every-deep-ball games might be around the corner. If you think that time is this weekend, go ahead and insert him into your lineups.

TE Kyle Pitts – Atlanta Falcons

You never want to sit him and risk him having a good game. I kind of like his chances of producing against the Panthers on Thursday Night Football.
