Fantasy football waiver wire: Week 11 free-agent forecast

With just a few more weeks until the fantasy football playoffs are here, the waiver wire has a number of intriguing targets for managers to consider entering Week 11.

The slate of Week 10 games will come to a conclusion Monday night when the Buffalo Bills host the Denver Broncos.

Teams on a bye in Week 11 include the Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons.

We’ll be taking a look at the top available players rostered in Yahoo leagues, using the 75% rostered mark as the threshold. If you have any questions about prioritizing a certain player over another, don’t be afraid to hit me up on X, formerly Twitter, (@KevinHickey11). Your questions and comments are always welcome!

We also will be taking a look at some deeper players to stash and the top streaming options for the upcoming week.

Fantasy football waiver wire recommendations refer to 12-team league formats, unless specifically stated.

Check back for any updates throughout Monday and Tuesday as more injury news becomes available.

1. RB Keaton Mitchell, Baltimore Ravens

It’s still very much a committee and despite his 39-yard touchdown run, Mitchell finished with 34 rushing yards on three carries in Week 11. He’s the top target again this week because his explosiveness is unmatched, and he’s in an elite rushing attack. This is likely the final time he will be available on waivers, so don’t be afraid to spend up a bit.

2. TE Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals

Having a tight end this high isn’t typical, but McBride isn’t playing like a typical tight end. In his first game with Kyler Murray this season, McBride posted an 8-131-0 receiving line on nine targets. He’s seen a 32% target share over the last three games. That kind of upside won’t be on the waiver wire long.

3. RB Devin Singletary, Houston Texans

With Dameon Pierce out again, Singletary dominated the backfield. It paid off this time as he posted a 30-150-1 rushing line while adding an 11-yard reception. It isn’t clear when Pierce will be back, but Singletary has RB2 upside given his schedule over the next three weeks.

4. QB Joshua Dobbs, Minnesota Vikings

Anyone in need of a quarterback option should look no further than Dobbs. He’s posted top-seven finishes in each of the last three games, while finishing as the QB5 and QB3, respectively, in his two games since being traded to the Vikings. Though he has a bye in Week 13, he gets the Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears over the next two weeks, and then they come out of the bye with a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 14.

5. RB Antonio Gibson, Washington Commanders

Gibson is still the 1b in this backfield, but he’s now coming off back-to-back double-digit fantasy performances, and he has at least five receptions in each of his last three games. His floor is still pretty low, but he has flex value in the right matchup with a bit more upside in PPR leagues.

6. WR Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers

Johnston led the Chargers’ skill players in snaps, and he ran just one fewer route than Keenan Allen. Though it only resulted in a 4-34-1 line on four targets in a game that went over 70 total points, his role is growing. Rookie wideouts are typically stronger bets to breakout during the second half, so Johnston should be on the radar.

7. WR Noah Brown, Houston Texans

I’ll admit, I believed Brown’s 6-153-1 performance in Week 9 was just a nice one-off. Then, he turned around to post a 7-172-0 line in Week 10. Some of that certainly had to do with the absence of Nico Collins, but Brown has become a flex option considering these boom games combined with C.J. Stroud‘s uncanny ability to throw the ball. I’m not totally sold he’s a weekly starter, but that upside is difficult to come by on the waiver wire.

8. WR Demario Douglas, New England Patriots

The rookie slot receiver put together another strong outing, posting double-digit PPR points for the third time in the last four games. Posting a 6-84-0 receiving line on nine targets, all of those marks were season-highs. With a 23% target share over the last four games, Douglas is becoming the top option in the passing game. New England is on a bye in Week 11, but Douglas is a flex option down the stretch.

9. WR Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs

Coming out of the bye week, it wouldn’t be a surprise at all if Rice’s role expanded during the second half. Despite being sixth on the team in routes runs, Rice leads all Chiefs receivers in targets (40), receptions (32), receiving yards (378) and touchdowns (four). His 2.28 yards per route run mark is 16th-best among all qualified wideouts and second-best among all rookies, per Pro Football Focus. Check to see if someone dropped him.

10. WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks

Still clearly the WR3 on the depth chart, the rookie has posted at least four receptions and 53 yards in three of his last four games. He’s enjoyed a solid 18% target share during that span, and there’s a chance his role grows a bit more down the stretch. Maybe he’s more of a stash for matchup utility, but there is flex value here with upside if something happens to DK Metcalf or Tyler Lockett.

QB Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints

The Saints are on a bye so managers may want to hold off until next week, but Derek Carr left Sunday’s game with a concussion and a shoulder injury (his second of the season). If Winston is the spot-starter coming out of the bye, there will be at least some intrigue.

Availability: 100%

RB Zach Charbonnet, Seattle Seahawks

He once again led the backfield in snaps even though Kenneth Walker III tripled his carry count. He saw five targets as well, so even though he’s providing low-end flex value, Charbonnet should be rostered considering his upside if Walker gets hurt.

FAAB: 5%
Availability: 55%

RB Ty Chandler, Minnesota Vikings

Alexander Mattison exited Week 10 due to a concussion so Chandler stepped in as the primary back. He was already working in before that, and he wound up posting a 15-45-1 rushing line. He’s a spot starter if Mattison is out in Week 11, and he now has handcuff value.

FAAB: 3%
Availability: 92%

WR Brandin Cooks, Dallas Cowboys

This is mostly because Cooks went bonkers posting a 9-173-1 line on 10 targets against a porous Giants defense. But the Cowboys desperately need a WR2 behind CeeDee Lamb, so it’s something to monitor.

FAAB: 3%
Availability: 62%

WR Michael Wilson, Arizona Cardinals

The rookie was second on the team in snaps and routes run while posting a solid 19% target share. He’s not a startable asset yet, but there’s a drumbeat growing.

Streamers of the Week

Credit: Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

QB Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Chargers: Though Love has been shaky, he still has a mid-QB2 floor. In a matchup against a Chargers defense allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, Love is a solid streamer with back-end QB1 upside.

Availability: 57%

QB Will Levis, Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars: Levis has come back down to Earth after a stellar debut, but he’s thrown the ball 39 times in each of the last two games. That volume may come in handy against the Jags, who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points per game to the position.

Availability: 47%

TE Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Chargers: Musgrave has enough big-play potential to be a viable streamer against a Chargers defense that’s allowed the most receiving yards to the position this season entering Monday night.

Availability: 77%

TE Logan Thomas, Washington Commanders vs. New York Giants: The matchup on paper doesn’t look all that great, but Sam Howell is slinging it, and Thomas has at least four receptions in each of his last four games.

Availability: 42%

Washington Commanders D/ST vs. New York Giants: The Giants were the best matchup for defenses before Daniel Jones tore his ACL. The Commanders could be in for a big day defensively in Week 11.

Availability: 79%

Miami Dolphins D/ST vs. Las Vegas Raiders: The Raiders are 2-0 since firing Josh McDaniels, but the Dolphins are coming off a bye with a healthy Jalen Ramsey. They’re a strong play in Week 11.

Availability: 61%

PK Jason Myers, Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams: Coming off a five field-goal day, we’ll stay in the flames with Myers against the Rams, who have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to kickers this season.

Availability: 42%

PK Brandon McManus, Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans: The Jags offense looked horrid in Week 10 coming out of the bye, but they should have an easier time moving the ball against Tennesse, who’s allowed the most field-goals mad and fourth-most field-goal attempts to kickers this season.
