Fantasy Football: Waiver-wire targets for Week 11

It was an exciting and interesting Week 10, where we saw some new names enter into our collective fantasy football minds. Injuries and breakout stars are going to send fantasy managers scrambling to waivers this week, and we can full you in on who to target before waivers clear.

1. Ty Chandler, RB, Minnesota Vikings

With injuries landing former backup Cam Akers to injured reserve running back Ty Chandler so an increase in his touches. Now the entrenched second running back in a rotation Chandler has the chance to be a sneaky impact play should the Vikings continue to feed him more due to the aggressively mediocre play of current starter Alexander Mattison. Chandler is a much add and could realistically become the full time back in Minnesota.

2. Elijah Moore, WR, Cleveland Browns

Scott Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

It’s been nice to see Elijah Moore get progressively more productive in a Cleveland Browns offense that could use another playmaker. Moore has come away with seven targets in three of his last five games and looks to have developed a solid connection with starter Deshaun Watson. Moore is an explosive enough player that seven targets can mean big points for fantasy owners. Moore could become a sneaky good fantasy receiver as we race towards the playoffs.

3. Josh Dobbs, QB, Minnesota Vikings

Vikings quarterback Josh Dobbs has certainly been one of the best stories in the NFL this year. From making an awful Cardinals team scrappy competitors, to now guiding Minnesota to a 2-0 record under his shockingly brief stint. Dobbs really sells himself as a fantasy option with his running ability, with over 100 yards and two touchdowns in the last two games Dobbs has been one of the better waiver quarterbacks out there. Minnesota is going to continue to allow Dobbs to sling it, and he is going to firmly place himself in QB1 territory.

4. Brandin Cooks, WR, Dallas Cowboys

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

It’s a little surprising that we even have to name Brandin Cooks given where he was ranked in the preseason, but with enough people having dropping him in the early going, you might be able to take advantage and scoop him up off the waiver. Cooks just had his breakout game of the season, torching the Giants for 173 yards and a touchdown. This Cowboys offense is starting to click and it has become one of the better in the league. Get Cooks on your roster if he is available.

5. Luke Musgrave, TE, Green Bay Packers

Wm. Glasheen USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin

We have featured Luke Musgrave on here a few times now and that is for good reason. His production is not being matched by his availability across all platforms. Musgrave has proven to be one of the more reliable targets on this Green Bay offense and plays a position that is ultra thin in fantasy football. Snatch  Musgrave off the waiver wire and fire him up as your starting tight end.
