You’re waking up on Tuesday reading all that you can about the players that you should be picking up off the waiver wire as you prepare for Week 2 of fantasy football in 2022.
But it’s likely there aren’t as many things written about who you should be dropping to grab those players. That’s what this weekly column — keep ’em or dump ’em! — will hopefully answer for you: Some help in the debate over who you should keep or drop in order to improve your team.
You know the drill: The waiver wire is full of some intriguing names after Week 1. Let’s talk about who you could drop or keep on your squad if you go after them:

RB Raheem Mostert, Miami Dolphins
Five carries for 16 yards and one catch for an additional 16.
Chase Edmonds? He got the bulk of the work.
That said, if Edmonds goes down, it’s the Mostert show. I’d hang on to him if you can.
VERDICT: Keep him

RB Mike Davis, Baltimore Ravens
A noteworthy pre-Week 1 pickup with J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards out. But Kenyan Drake was the RB1 last week and Dobbins could be back soon.
VERDICT: Drop him

RB Zamir White, Las Vegas Raiders
So much for that as a deep sleeper. He was way behind Brandon Bolden and Ameer Abdullah — and starter Josh Jacobs — in snaps. If you’re in a keeper league, I’d think twice, but …
VERDICT: Drop him

WR Sammy Watkins, Green Bay Packers
Sigh. The Packers’ WR situation is still kind of muddled and Allen Lazard might be back next week.
The vet got three looks and turned it into 18 yards. Bleh.
VERDICT: Drop him

TE Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears
So much preseason hype … but just ONE TARGET on Sunday.
Here’s what I’d do: Stick with him after last week’s rain-soaked game and hope he bounces back. But I might be targeting some tight end waiver wire help.
VERDICT: Keep him

QB Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
No, I’m not kidding. He was BAD last week.
But yeah, you’re not cutting him … yet. That said, I’d probably bench him this week.
VERDICT: Keep him

WR K.J. Osborn, Minnesota Vikings
It’s the Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen show. Four targets won’t cut it as the No. 3 receiver.
VERDICT: Drop him
