Knowledge is power and the greatest asset you can acquire in order to compete for a fantasy football championship.
Here's your 2022 preview of the Philadelphia Eagles, the 31st of 32 team profiles during draft season:
— 2022 Fantasy MVP: Jalen Hurts, QB
There's overall QB1 upside here if Hurts (ADP: 55) continues to progress as a passer — he was better than most realized last season. However, there's already a substantially high floor in place considering his rushing potential. He's one of nine quarterbacks to run for at least 10 touchdowns in a single season — Cam Newton (three times), Steve Grogan, Kyler Murray, Kordell Stewart, Tobin Rote, Johnny Lujack, Daunte Culpepper and Billy Kramer are the others.
— 2022 Fantasy Sleeper: Dallas Goedert, TE
Goedert (ADP: 83) took over as the Eagles' top tight end in Week 7 last season after Zach Ertz was traded to Arizona. He was fantasy's TE6 the rest of way. A full season of his production over that span would be 70 receptions, 1,044 yards and three touchdowns. He's currently being drafted as the TE8 when he clearly has top-five upside.
— 2022 Fantasy Bust: Miles Sanders, RB
Sanders (ADP: 79) has already missed time during training camp with a hamstring injury. This is a bad sign for a running back who already features durability concerns. Plus, I anticipate Philadelphia throwing the ball more with the addition of receiver AJ Brown and Hurts will continue to vulture touchdown opportunities.
— 2022 Fantasy Rookie to watch: Grant Calcaterra, TE
Calcaterra (ADP: NA) missed most of training camp with a hamstring injury, but returned in time to play in the final preseason game. The sixth-rounder looked like he hadn't missed a day. Calcaterra is an athletic tight end with impressive ball skills who would have value if something happens to Goedert.
