Knowledge is power and the greatest asset you can acquire in order to compete for a fantasy football championship.
Here's your 2022 preview of the Denver Broncos, the first of 32 team profiles during draft season:
— 2022 Fantasy MVP: Russell Wilson, QB
Fantasy participants begged the Seattle Seahawks to let Russ cook for years. I imagine that's exactly what the Broncos have in mind after trading multiple players and draft picks for the nine-time Pro Bowler. Wilson (ADP: 78) has finished as QB6 or better in five of the last eight seasons and he's currently being drafted as QB11.
— 2022 Fantasy Sleeper: Albert Okwuegbunam, TE
Wilson has targeted his tight ends 21% of the time in his career. In the red zone, that number jumps to 27%. Okwuegbunam (ADP: 140) is an athletic playmaker and will get first dibs on a potentially valuable target share after Noah Fant was shipped off to Seattle.
— 2022 Fantasy Bust: Javonte Williams, RB
I expect Denver's offense to take a big step forward and I believe Williams' (ADP: 16) potential is sky-high, but I don't believe he becomes the bell-cow running back this season we all know he's capable of becoming. Which means drafting him as a borderline first-rounder is a little rich for my blood. To be sure, he should have some monster performances, but consistency could be an issue with Melvin Gordon still hanging around and a quarterback capable of utilizing all his weapons on the outside.
— 2022 Fantasy Rookie to watch: Greg Dulcich, TE
Dulcich (ADP: 271) wasn't drafted in the third round for his blocking acumen. He's an above average route runner who can stretch the field — he had 725 yards and five touchdowns on 42 receptions last season at UCLA — and we've already established how much Wilson favors his tight ends.
