No one — repeat no one — expected the New York Giants to be 6-1.
In fact, many would have been surprised if Big Blue went 6-11 in Brian Daboll’s first season.
But here we are, the New York Giants are 6-1 after downing the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, 23-17, in the Sunshine State.
It was close, but Big Blue held on for its win.
The last play of the game saw Trevor Lawrence hit Christian Kirk near the goal line but the Giants’ defense refused to let the Jaguars’ wideout into the end zone.
He was stopped at the 1 and the Giants still have 1 loss after 7 weeks.
