Fans urge Madonna to 'take your time' as she reveals new tour plans after health scare

Madonna has been urged to "focus on healing" after she revealed new plans for her world tour following her recent health scare.

Takin to Instagram, the 64-year-old announced that she hopes to start her tour in Europe in October and plans to reschedule the North American shows at a later date.

Madonna was forced to postpone her concerts after she was rushed to hospital with a serious bacterial infection. She's said to have been found unresponsive before being injected with the drug Narcan to combat her life-threatening septic shock.

While many fans are happy at the thought of seeing the Queen of Pop return to the stage so soon, others have encouraged her to "take your time".

"Take all the time you need, Madonna. The most important thing is your good health. We treasure you, your art, and everything else you bring to this world," another said while a third added: "Focus on healing! We will all wait for you and the show will be amazing when we can all be together again!"

One of Madonna's followers said she "never disappoints", writing: "I'm so happy reading this. You never disappoint us. What we really care is that you're on the path of recovery.

Following her hospital stay, Madonna has since been recovering at her New York City home and was recently spotted by a fan enjoying a stroll with a friend in her Upper East Side neighbourhood.

In a video shared on TikTok, Madonna was seen wearing a pair of oversized sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat.

She went for a casual outfit and wore navy shorts with a matching top. The singer also wore a pair of Nike trainers and leant against the lamppost as she waited to cross the street.
