Fans support Anne-Marie as she gives update after falling down stairs at Brit Awards

Anne-Marie suffered a nasty fall down some stairs while performing at the Brit Awards tonight.

The star soldiered on and managed to finish her set despite the painful-looking tumble.

She has since spoken out on social media after the accident, which didn't stop her performance of her hit single Kiss My (Uh Oh).

The pop singer, 30, made an entrance from inside a giant heart while performing with YouTuber and rapper KSI and Digital Farm Animals, when she tripped down the stairs.

Posting on Twitter after going off stage, she said: "Didn’t need my left ankle anyway."

Fans were quick to support the singer and praised her for the way that she styled it out.

Others were concerned for her and were surprised that she wasn't hurt.

Billy said: "How you haven’t damaged that is beyond me."

Emma said: "I’ve been saying on a loop 'OOOH I hope her ankle’s all right' like a proper Nan."

Holly said: "The way you picked yourself back up like nothing happened was ICONIC"

Chloe said: "You made it look like it was supposed to happen"
